GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

Thank you for visiting https://artelam.mx (hereinafter the “Site”). Artelam (hereinafter “Artelam” or “We”) is the brand responsible for the operation of this Site. These general terms and conditions of use (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, as well as the services and products offered through it.

By accessing the Site, you expressly agree to these Terms. We recommend that you read them carefully. If you do not agree with any of the provisions herein, we advise you not to use the Site.

1. CUSTOMER INFORMATION
The Customer declares that all information provided through the Site is true, current, accurate, lawful, and verifiable. Artelam is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the data provided by the Customer.

2. PRODUCTS AND ARTISANAL NATURE
All of our products are handmade individually using artisanal cotton dyed with natural pigments. Due to this artisanal nature:

  • Each piece is unique, and slight variations in shape, size, or finish may occur.

  • Thread color may vary slightly even among pieces of the same model, due to the natural dyeing process.

  • These pieces are designed for indoor use. Since artisanal cotton is sensitive, they must not be exposed to humidity and must be kept in well-ventilated, air-conditioned areas. If not, the cotton may develop mold, which is not covered under warranty.

3. PRICES, PAYMENTS, AND SHIPPING

  • All prices are listed in US dollars and include VAT where applicable.

  • Shipping costs are fixed and displayed during the checkout process.

  • Express orders always incur an additional charge, which will be shown before completing your purchase.

  • For deliveries outside the standard shipping zones listed on our site, additional shipping costs apply. Please contact us for a custom quote.

4. PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY TIME

  • Each piece is made by hand, and the standard production time is 4 to 6 weeks.

  • This timeline does not include shipping, which depends on the customer’s location.

  • Artelam is not responsible for delivery delays caused by third-party couriers or force majeure events.

5. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES
We do not accept order cancellations under any circumstances.
Since all pieces are handmade to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges, either partial or full.

We only offer warranty for manufacturing defects, which must be reported within three (3) calendar days after receiving your order. Claims must be accompanied by clear photographs for review. Reports made after this period will not be accepted.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Site, including images, text, designs, logos, and photographs, is the exclusive property of Artelam and is protected by copyright laws. Reproduction, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization.

7. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SITE AND TERMS
Artelam reserves the right to modify, update, or remove any content from the Site, as well as these Terms and Conditions, at any time and without prior notice. Continued use of the Site by the Customer implies acceptance of such changes.

8. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms are governed by Mexican law. Any dispute arising from the use of the Site shall be submitted to the competent courts of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.
